I read this book with increasing pleasure as the dramatic love affair between the Australian woman and a French artist unfolded. The use of emails and skype was unusual but very telling if sometimes overlong. The style was fluid and easy to read . The insertion of numerous pen pictures of the different parts of France the heroine visited during the tangled love affair were very interesting, full of detail and imagination.I became more and more intrigued by the nature of the relationship as the story progressed and was amazed that in the last chapter, details of which I leave the readers to discover themselves, events unfolded in a most dramatic way. Overall an excellent first book from this talented writer.I look forward to the sequel.P Heffron
