This story reeled me in from the start; possibly because I have worked in some of the places mentioned in the book but also I could easily picture myself as the protagonist in the story. Apart from the compelling love story (I read practically the entire story through the night to see how this affair would turn out and finished it the next day!) I was very impressed with the geographical journey through the book. The descriptions and details in regard to the locations would make an excellent travel guide if Nannette Holliday could possible support this knowledge and experience of the regions photographically.
