The Sting of Fate by Nannette Holliday is a love story that spans three continents. The book is written in an unusual way using the genre of email as the backbone of the story, which takes a bit of getting used to at first. This is the story of an Australian woman who meets and falls in love with a French artist who is in the process of getting divorced after 40 years of marriage. Interspersed with the love story are interesting mini travelogues of France and Canada, making the reader keen to visit the places mentioned. The writer keeps the reader guessing what the outcome of the love affair will be right up to the last page. I look forward to the planned sequel "Fates Revenge", continuing the saga.
Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency “Congratulates Nannette Holliday’s "The Sting of Fate" for winning the NABE Pinnacle Book Achievement Award 'Adventure Romance' for Summer 2011. Plus both the hardcover and eBook versions of her work have been sold into eight companies in Taiwan.
